This is the first entry. I want to say a short thing about why it exists.
Why a journal
I have spent more than twenty five years helping mission driven organizations reach the people they serve. Most of that work happens quietly. I have wanted a place to slow down long enough to tell some of those stories, share the philosophy behind them, and recognize the people who did the real work.
What to expect
Short essays. Honest ones. On leadership, on nonprofit outreach, on the people who show up when no one is watching. Roughly once a month, sometimes more when something is worth saying.
Who this is for
Anyone who has ever felt that a good cause deserves the same care as a big brand. I feel that way every day.
